Mobilize Financial Services (MFS), a subsidiary of Renault Group, stands out in the financial sector for its innovative, tailored solutions. To stay competitive, MFS asks its employees for ideas, an approach that builds engagement and initiative across the company.
Before The friction
Employees had ideas for the business, but no structured way to propose them and develop them over a set period. MFS asked Forward Partners to build a programme to support these intrapreneurs.
The Venture Engine The approach
Forward Partners worked with the MFS teams to structure the programme in phases, built on Design Thinking and Lean Startup. Design Thinking keeps the focus on the user and the problem, Lean Startup validates each concept through fast experiments.
The protocol. The 6-Phase Venture Pipeline: (1) Frame corporate challenges, (2) Launch call for ideas and team registration, (3) Support idea structuring, (4) Present to qualified jury, (5) Select most promising concepts, (6) Six months of team coaching to develop each idea and prove its value for users.
After The immediate impact
The programme developed three new concepts that were launched inside the company.
Legacy. Employees took an active part in their own innovation projects, which strengthened their involvement in the company's future and built engagement and motivation.
